:)
TinaV sent 4 pieces of fruit.

do i get life points back if i have enough fruit? i only have 2 left, is that bad? the goal to exercise every single day may have been too ambitious for the occasional once per week jam-packed today (like today)

you get life back by healing yourself with fruit you have (that takes 4 fruit) or by others giving you fruit (that takes 2 fruit per gained life). so, consider a “plea” post – which you have seen other team CDWL@edi do. it’s an option on your game wall – in addition to posting thoughts, etc. i’ll sport you some fruit! (and being too ambitious is not bad – it’s part of figuring out what works for you.)

i see you have 13 fruit … math can be fun. :)

i have gifted people fruit even when they don’t make a plea – just because i think they rock! goal is you want to have at least one life at the end of the month. (and you can see that for february, you start out with 10 lives and zero fruit; fruit doesn’t carry over. don’t know if that will be changing.)

Weight: -1.9  lbs since start of month
6 Energy: I feel like I can get things done
7 Calm: All is right at the moment
9 Mood: I could hug a dead rat and bring it back to life

pretty hard to weigh myself at the same time each day so the numbers tend to fluctuate, same on energy level – want more energy in general! (and less lbs!)

ok here’s a challenge I’m facing would love to hear any ideas/suggestions – I’m trying to get back into my regular lifting routine. Several years ago when I first started lifting and was doing it consistently I was a lot more toned, clothes fit better, and a bit lighter, so I’m definitely motivated. The issue is – for upper body lifting, I have a lot of tightness/achiness in my shoulders and neck, and so more often than not I skip lifting because I don’t want to feel more sore. I also have elbow tendinitis that bugs me sometimes which can be another deterrent to lifting weights. and my upper body is the part that needs it more! thanks for your comments!

Have you ever done self-massage/stretching with foam rollers? When I injured my shoulder, my physical therapist recommended that I do it regularly and now I do it every day. It has helped a lot with my tightness. Here are 2 links with examples for the upper back and shoulders:

Good luck!!!

Now I feel like a wimp for only choosing 3 rules but it looks like it’s too late to add any?

Hey Tina! No need at all to feel like a wimp. Your rules rule. (Sorry for the alliteration.)

I agree with Becky. No need to feel like a wimp! So glad you two joined us. Welcome!

tina – totally no need to feel like a wimp. if they are rules that you know you want to help improve your health – that makes it great! and plus, maybe you can “audit” other rules off-line – kind of a practice – in prep for next month. we’ll support you! :)
