  • Didn't do the custom thing

fish twice a week may have been too ambitious – I try to order it when I go out sometimes but I’m having trouble making the fillets in the freezer b/c I’d have to plan ahead to defrost.

I lost 2 life points because of the following things…
  • Didn't do yoga
  • Didn't eat any greens

I went Barrel Tasting up in Sonoma County today, which made for a lunch mostly of cheese, bread, and salami and no greens. then I got sick on the way home so having chicken-rice soup for dinner. no greens, no exercise, no yoga. but i had fun (until I got sick!)

ok, last week I lost 2 life points because I didn’t go out and be social. i am trying to make some more social plans for the coming weeks and also plow through this last semester! I have plenty of fruit so would be happy to return the favor!

the being social thing is amazingly difficult for me, especially when I’m tired all the time and feel overwhelmed with schoolwork. on the plus side, I did clear a couple of schoolwork hurdles this afternoon.

i feel you on the social thing, however, maybe see if there are some small tidbits of social time – maybe unexpected chats with a friend that leads to a coffee break, reconnecting with someone over a phone call and planning to meet later, … then maybe sometimes – it’s just needing to unwind and cocoon after a long day! (congrats on clearing hurdles on a sunday afternoon!)

not sure it says much for me that I could hug something cute & fluffy (who doesn’t like cute & fluffy?) although I’d actually prefer puppy b/c I’m allergic to cats..

managed to do some upper body lifting for the first time in months! but finding time to exercise and relax seems to compete with my go out & be social twice a week rule. i guess i have to be a (social) weekend warrior. :)
