I lost 3 life points because of the following things…
  • Didn't go to bed on time
  • Didn't meditate
  • Ate some pasta

late dinner at Homeroom = didn’t go to bed on time & went over the week’s pasta budget (but on a plus, I managed to only eat half of my entree and ok, also half of a dessert – but hey self-control, took the rest home to make it 2 meals!)

I lost 2 life points because of the following things…
  • Didn't do yoga
  • Didn't meditate

off my routine after weekend away – decided to go buy groceries on Mon night instead of going to yoga. yesterday I did manage to lift weights, go to gym, and stretch, but didn’t do yoga so I didn’t hit my quota for the week.

Thank you! And I got a bit more back on track today with a lunchtime yoga class – although then had peanut butter pie at chile pies (& ice cream). but so delicious worth the calories!

Bought a little mini notebook to start keeping as a food diary so I’ll be more mindful of what I’m eating over the course of a day. A challenge when traveling but I wanted to start it on June 1 regardless. Back in town & having quinoa for breakfast!

Just got back from a trip to Cancun, now several pounds heavier and with much fewer life points! I managed to eat fruits & veggies every day but exercise and meditation definitely went out the window and it was tough to be motivated to do much sitting on the beach with fruity drinks everywhere!

I agree with Anon….vacations are meant to be enjoyed…plus, there is something to be said for the mental health benefits of relaxation and tropical drinks! Cheers!

Yay for May! I’m about to finish grad school and so I’m trying to focus on my fitness & diet goals while also bringing back some more social time & reading for fun. and a vacation! Thanks for the support everyone last month and this whole year.

I just came back from a trip to New York/Philly where I saw lots of friends and went to a wedding. Tried to eat as well as I could, but definitely messed up my exercise & meditation schedule. It was a lot of fun!

ok, so I did get back on track with meditating, but I did not practice yoga today and I’m having a really hard time with the fish goal b/c it requires advance planning (defrost) to cook it for dinner, and we’re going out of town next week and trying to eat up what’s in the fridge (so not going out to order fish either)
